The band Guttroll was born in a jam in the winter of 2015 at an event called Solstício do Som in the city of Petrópolis RJ.

The musicians Rafael Ojeriza on vocals, Alex Melo on drums, Rogério Alves on guitar and Igor Alves on bass got together to make a sound and due to the vibe that happened and the public response they decided to continue the work.
After more rehearsals and performances in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Guttroll went on a hiatus due to Rogério Alves moving to another city and Igor Alves moving to another country.

In 2017 Rafael and Alex decided to resume activities with the band and for that they invited Luciano Vieira to play guitar, and then Guttroll started to have Rafael Ojeriza on vocals and bass, Alex Melo on drums and Luciano Vieira on guitar, this formation lasted until 2020, when the band could for a new reformulation and reached the current lineup with Rafael Ojeriza as vocalist and guitarist, Alex Melo as drummer and Tulio Lobo on bass.

It is exactly with this formation that Guttroll takes a big step to walk consistently making the recording of its first full album called Invalide leaders at Forestlab studio with producer Lisciel Franco, release of singles in partnership with Roadie Metal, release of clips and lyric videos in partnership with Phillip Klein, creation of the band’s official website with Marcus Carvalho in addition to presentations in and out of the state.
